Each year, Integrative Care Outreach’s (ICO’s) dedicated team of doctors, medical students, nurses, acupuncturists, and counselors provides free integrative health care for Seattle’s low to no income populations. This tight-knit integrative team approach helps to bridge the gaps and frank deficits in health care for some of the most vulnerable in our society.

Established in 1999 by a group of students and homeless advocates, Integrative Care Outreach's (ICO) mission is to bring quality holistic and integrative healthcare to at-risk individuals experiencing homelessness and extreme poverty in King County, WA. ICO is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization.
ICO aims to alleviate the health needs of the roughly 11,000 individuals living without shelter in King County, of which 50% reported living with one or more disabling health conditions. Without regular access to healthcare, these individuals are suffering from increased risk of preventable illness, longer hospitalizations, and a higher rate of premature death.
Through its mobile medical approach and team of licensed medical providers, ICO is urgently addressing barriers to health equity by bringing 100% free healthcare directly to these communities. ICO envisions a future when EVERYONE has easy access to holistic medicine.
